CONDUIT CORES

The majority of push-pull applications utilize one of the standards listed below. These cores are recommended for use in the conduits shown above. Additional diameters and material are available upon request.

Armor Wrap construction provides increased protection against high compression forces, wear and crushing. Steel flats ranging in widths from .0062 inches to .125 inches are wound around a strand or cable in a single or double wrap. The thickness of the flat steel can generally vary from .015 inches to .030 inches. The armored strand is then swaged to a specified nominal diameter. An extruded plastic jacket can be specified at this point to insure increased resistance against corrosion.
